About the Artist

Kelly is a self taught artist specializing in Portraiture. Her favorite medium to work in is charcoal. Kelly started her journey back in 2020 when there was so much uncertainty going on in the world, she picked up a pad of paper and pencil and the journey began.

After doing pencil drawing she started to experiment with charcoal and fell in love with the medium.

Fast forward a couple of years Kelly started to experiment with painting in acrylics. She painted for probably just over a year and was fortunate to have one of her paintings chosen to be a street banner in her hometown of Lake Country.

Kelly has recently started focusing on charcoal work again by doing charcoal on canvas which she finds very challenging and rewarding.
